![]() It sees my Thrustmaster T16000 stick out of the box, but doesn't seem to have a config file for the TWCS throttle: 1458.76 :input /build/flightgear-vN5Hjs/flightgear-2019.1.1+dfsg/src/Input/FGJoystickInput.cxx:135:Looking for bindings for joystick "Thrustmaster T.16000M"ġ458.76 :input /build/flightgear-vN5Hjs/flightgear-2019.1.1+dfsg/src/Input/FGJoystickInput.cxx:147. just starting slow with Flightgear right now. Let me Know if this works!īutton n=7 Now Modified to Start Engines. Decided elevator trim can remain at sticktop!Įlevator trim is button n=1 or with trig pressed trims in opposite direction (Test yourself to find which is Up or Down!)Īlso two buttons on left hand side of base should now do flaps or with trigger the gear. ![]() Trigger is now first modifierīrakes are topstick button n=2 Parking Brake if trig is pressed. Reckon we'll leave the second modifier redundant for now and get the new trigger modifier doing as much as it can do!ĭone some of that. Have a bash at doing that and I will do the same this end and post the altered code for you to test on your mac. Then use the middle button at top of stick to do brakes and with trigger pressed parking brake. So suggest we move both elevator trims down to n=10 n=11 buttons Sadly that puts the brakes on that awkward button on the front of the base First we can swap buttons n=7 and n=0 with each other so first modifier is trigger Suggest we can swap things around to suit you better. OK ssjiwa, It's a good xml for you but not everything is where you want it to be. Forward lowers the nose and back creates lift. There is no twist so left stick moves aircraft to left (rudder left) and right moves aircraft to right. Is that what you wanted to know? And yet there is a trigger button at the front of the handle that acts as a brake. These are currently used for vector thrust and therefore useless for flying a 737 which I like. On the right side of the base are two buttons marked 10 (closer to back side) and 11 closer to front side. These are currently used as function buttons but I'd rather use them for something else since reaching for two buttons with one hand is inconvenient. On the back side of the base is the slider that acts as throttle control and above that are two buttons marked 8 and 9. From code you can see that pressed alone, they operate the flaps up and down. There are six buttons on the base of the joystick. I see there is no twist-grip or HAT but does your stick have a trigger? Which only adds confusion as to which button you mean you would like to alter!Īlso thanks for your full xml code but please re-edit your post using Code box like this below. Pleae describe which buttons you mean by button.n="6".n="7"īutton. Mod = getprop("/input/joysticks/js/Logitech-Attack-3-modifier") Name = "/input/joysticks/js/Logitech-Attack-3-modifier" I'd like to use buttons 8 and 9 (currently function buttons) for landing gear up and down.īuttons 10 and 11 on right side base to activate spoilers and one of them to activate reverse thrust.Īppreciate it if someone can help make the changes. ![]() So what I'd love is to see the two base buttons on left - marked 6 and 7 to be used for flaps up and down. My main problem is this was more or less designed for vertical takeoffs and don't like button 8 and 9 being used as function buttons or 10 and 11 for vertical vector thrust. ![]() The top four buttons controlling the elevator trim and rudder are great. This joystick file contains code from another compilation and is not the generic code. ![]()
